Port Information
Going to Iceland, it's the power of Icelandic nature to turn the prosaic into the extraordinary. A dip in a pool becomes a soak in a geothermal lagoon; a casual stroll can transform into a trek across a glittering glacier; and a quiet night of camping may mean front-row seats to the aurora borealis’ curtains of light, or the soft, pinkish hue of the midnight sun. Ireland is a soul-stirring experience, from rugged green hills, dramatic coastline and good-natured locals, to moving folk music, flowing Guinness and Viking legacies. So, let's set sail and enjoy the beautiful locations like the ones below...
Cork (Cobh), Ireland
Affectionately referred to as 'The real capital of Ireland’, Cork is a musical and resilient place where tradition and modernity often meld; where live music and local pride are the order of the day. The seaside town of Cobh is located on the south coast of Ireland in County Cork and is considered one of the world’s most noteworthy, natural harbors. You’ll easily find yourself downing a pint of stout in a cozy pub or enjoying hearty Irish favorites at a corner bistro on your Cork cruise.
Isafjordur, Iceland
Ísafjörður( Isafjordur) is a town in the Westfjords region of northwest Iceland. It's known for its dramatic landscapes. The old town has wooden houses with corrugated tin roofs built by fishing merchants in the 18th and 19th centuries. The Westfjords Heritage Museum has exhibits on the town’s maritime history, including a collection of old fishing boats. The old hospital, now a cultural center, contains archives and photography.
Reykjavik, Iceland
Iceland's capital and largest city is located on the country's southwest coast at the head of Faxafloi Bay. Settled in 877 A.D., Reykjavik has grown into an important seaport and center of government and education with theatres, museums and observatories. Interestingly, this modern city still chooses to use water from nearby hot springs to heat all of its buildings.
