Do you spend more time during your board meetings “in the weeds” of operational matters – or do you focus on big picture strategic issues? In this session you will learn some thoughts and best practices for planning better board meetings, meeting format and agendas, strategic planning in board meetings, some metrics and scorecards, and board self-assessment strategies.

Do you have a detailed method to evaluate and compensate your CEO, and is it directly linked to your Credit Union’s mission, strategic goals, and values? Do you evaluate your CEO with subjective and objective criteria? In this session you will learn some thoughts and best practices for: Pay philosophy, benchmarks for CEO pay, evaluation methodology, and sample evaluation & incentive pay program.
