Conference Presenters:

Tom Glatt, Jr. is the founder of Glatt Consulting Group, Inc, a credit union consulting firm specializing in distinctive strategy consulting for credit union boards and management teams. Tom has over 18 years of strategy consulting experience in the credit union community. His primary consulting focus is working with clients to develop and execute corporate strategy.

Tom also created the Credit Union Industry HealthScore. The HealthScore is a highly regarded financial performance score reflecting the financial health of US-based credit unions. It is calculated and published quarterly.

Tom earned a Bachelor’s of Science degree in business administration from the University of Mary Washington in Fredericksburg, VA. He also graduated from the University of North Carolina-Wilmington’s Cameron School of Business Executive Certificate Program, as well as the National Association of Federal Credit Union’s Management Development Institute.

Tom’s most recent consulting projects have included:

  • CEO compensation and performance evaluation;

Brian Smith-Vandergriff joined Financial Management Services in 2014 after almost 13 years with a broker/dealer and registered investment advisor serving depositories from coast to coast. He has extensive experience in client institutions on balance sheet management strategies, interest rate risk, investments, and other strategic efforts.

Brian has been a frequent speaker at industry events and continues to serve as a member of the board of directors at Catholic Family CU. Brian holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and a Master of Business Administration from Rockhurst University.

He also holds a Doctorate in Business Administration from the Grenoble Ecole de Management (Grenoble, France) with a research focus on the role of investments on the performance of financial institutions.
