Harry Black
is a former stockbroker with Merrill Lynch who
has been studying investments for over 30 years.
He teaches the fundamentals of investing in an
entertaining passionate way to local credit
unions and the public. He is a thirty year
member of Mississippi Telco Federal Credit Union
and has been on the Board of Directors for
thirteen years. He is a vice chairman of
the Asset Liability Management Committee and
helps make decisions for a seventy million
dollar portfolio. He holds a Master of
Business Administration degree from Mississippi
College and an Industrial Engineering degree
from Mississippi State University. |
Bill Farley
is a Sales Manager-Select for CUNA Mutual Group
in Madison, Wisconsin. He leads a sales team of
12 executives who provide superior service to
more than 800 credit unions in the eastern
United States.
Bill joined
CUNA Mutual in 2001 as Division Manager of
Business Development. He was promoted to
Regional Vice President of Lending for the
Southeast Marketing Division in 2004, and he
accepted his current position in 2006. Bill is
based in Lynchburg, Virginia.
Previously,
Bill spent 13 years as President & Chief
Executive Officer of Central Virginia Federal
Credit Union, and he worked for five years as
Vice President & City Executive for North
Carolina State Employees Credit Union.
Bill earned
a Bachelor’s Degree in business administration
from the University of North Carolina. He has
completed the Credit Union Executive Society
(CUES) CEO Institute at Wharton School of
Business and the CUES Advanced Leadership
Institute at Harvard University.
Bill also
graduated with highest honors from the National
Credit Union Institute. He was awarded the
Certified Credit Union Executive (CCUE)
designation from CUNA's Center for Professional
Development. |
