Sherron Bienvenu,
Ph.D
Consultant, Trainer
Sherron Bienvenu began her career as Shreveport,
Louisiana’s first female disc jockey. After
years in radio and PR and theatre, she settled
in Atlanta, Georgia. She earned a PhD in social
psychology at Emory University and taught
undergrad and MBA communication for 20 years at
Emory’s business school. During those years,
she developed a consulting practice, wrote three
books, and raised a daughter. In 2002, she left
Emory with emeritus status and moved her
consulting practice (and her home) to Utah.
Dr. Sherron Bienvenu provides professional,
managerial, and corporate communication counsel,
coaching, and training for corporations and
individuals. Her current largest corporate
client is Lockheed Martin Aeronautics, but she
has worked with a comprehensive range of
industries and functional areas.
In addition to consulting and training, Sherron
is an experienced and engaging speaker on many
communication topics, applying her dynamic
delivery to relevant, pragmatic material. She
is a Visiting Professor in the International MBA
program at the Helsinki School of Economics
where she teaches Management Communication and
Managing Corporate Reputation. She is also
frequently interviewed by media representatives
and has appeared on CNN, CNBC, NPR, and many
network affiliates. She has been quoted in
popular publications (such as Cosmopolitan,
Fortune Small Business, PINK, Ladies Home
Journal, Women’s Health) and has also been
featured in the Icelandic and Finnish press.
